 | About Me:Hello, my name is Thomas Quinn. I grew up in Easton, Pa with my mom, dad, and sister. I attended Easton High School and am now enrolled in Kutztown University. My major is Secondary Education, focusing on Social Studies. Philosophy on Classroom Management: Classroom management is a valuable and delicate procedure. Every teacher has the responsibility/opportunity to positively effect the lives of many others. As a teacher, I like to have a strong emphasis on staying motivated and keeping a positive attitude. This simply means always pushing for the best and not giving up on anything or anybody. In order to do all this, you must manage your classroom in an effective way. I believe fairness, honesty, and persistence are three of the major factors involved in managing a classroom well. |
Putting this website to use! :
This website will be shown to all my classes on the first day of school. A detailed overview on how to access and navigate through the site will also be provided. Along with a reading of all the classroom rules/consequences and an overview of what the classroom will look like, the URL to the website will always be written on the board. By explaining to the students how to access and navigate through the site, there should be no reason or excuse for the class to not know what is expected of them.
